Hyperbolic Arccosecant

Syntax

acsch(x)

Definition

The hyperbolic arccosecant function returns the hyperbolic arccosecant of a number. The hyperbolic arccosecant is defined as the inverse of the hyperbolic cosecant of a number. More simply:
arccsch(x)=csch1(x)\operatorname{arccsch}(x)=\operatorname{csch}^{-1}(x)
csch1(csch(x))=x\operatorname{csch}^{-1}(\operatorname{csch}(x))=x
Additionally, an exact solution exists:
arccsch(x)=ln(1x+1x2+1)\operatorname{arccsch}(x)=\ln\bigg(\frac{1}{x}+\sqrt{\frac{1}{x^2}+1}\bigg)
